Whether you are new to
Egyptology or an expert we will be happy to meet with you. MAES
is at the heart of a very lively community in Manchester which appeals
to both professional and amateur enthusiasts alike. Manchester is also home
to an excellent Egyptian collection in the Manchester Museum and also
to the KNH Centre for Biomedical Egyptology at the University of
Manchester directed by Professor Rosalie David. The Museum and
the KNH Centre offers an excellent distance-learning "Certificate in
Egyptology" course a a variety of short courses throughout the
year. Many of hte tutors are active in the local Egypoloty
community. They always need your support to keep courses viable;
please support them when you can. MAES also has partner
links with societies in South Africa and Malta. Links to all the
