The Manchester Ancient Egypt Society (MAES), has built up a number of contacts with other similar groups in Great Britain and elsewhere. Our members have been to visit museums with Egyptology collections, and also have spoken at other groups. Do you have your own Egyptology group? Manchester Ancient Egypt Society is in contact with a number of groups around Britain. We have also set up a 'Directory of Egyptology Societies in Britain'. So even if you don't want to join the Manchester Ancient Egypt Society, we may be able to put you in touch with an Egyptology society in your local area.
